I'm Writing a Book!!!!!
This is so weird when I talk in terms of manuscripts and research. I can't believe how awesome my family is. Everyone went in together and surprised me for Mother's day and got me 1. Art Supplies, 2. Art LESSONS 3. Signed me up for a Writers Workshop at BYU 4. Tailored information for my own Style makeover. ( I'm going to look great on Oprah)
I have to have the first two chapters of my book written before the workshop. I have been busily researching, writing, rewriting, rewriting, asking opinions, praying and rewriting. I think I have a good dent in the first two chapters though. I am so thankful for my family forcing me into this. I hope I don't disappoint them. I take that back. I know that they will love what ever I do because they are all like that. Everyone is so supportive of the things I do and the things everyone else does. I have the greatest family EVER!
Watch for my new book in a bookstore near you. Release date.....hmmmm, well 2010? hee hee

Just got back!
We just returned from a great time picking up Alex from his mission in Atlanta Georgia. We met so many great people and loved seeing him in his element. He really learned to love the south and everyone in it. Its great because he still says "Yes Maam" to me all the time. We then were able to go to Florida to meet up with every member of our family (all 25) in Orlando to have a whirlwind family reunion. We rented a house close to Disneyworld and spent 4 wonderful days visiting, laughing, playing, swimming, doing the parks and beach, eating, etc. It was like a dream. It couldn't have been better if I had planned every detail for years. I hope we can recreate it sometime. We had church in our house because there was a regional conference for all of Florida and we didn't know until it was half over. We all stayed in our Sunday clothes and just tried our best to keep the Sabbath day holy. We had a great fireside/Sunday School given by Keri which included a long and spiritual discussion. (Wow! sounds like we are about to be translated - hee hee) We went to Disneyworld the second full day we were there, then the next day was spent in SeaWorld (everyone's favorite) and then to Cocoa Beach on the next day. It was just like Heaven. The cousins loved being together and everyone got along so well. I loved every minute of it.

Update on where the family is
Mark is in Japan right now. He is trying to follow up on some contacts in the film industry he made there last year. He is going to teach English and also do some free-lance editing/film work. We miss him but know that he is following his dream, so we are behind him 100%.
Jodie and Tim just celebrated their first anniversary. Congratulations!!!! They still act like they got married last week. They are both very busy with work and school.
Jeff is loving his new job at the Timpanogos Medical Center in Orem. He moved his family here about 3 months ago and we are loving having them close by at last. Melanie is very busy. The kids are growing and the new twins are darling.
Keri is living in Salt Lake City and teaching. She is also getting involved with a foundation which helps refugees who come to the area. She is very excited about that.
Katie and Steve moved to Ohio where Steve is doing medical internship. He loves it. Katie loves her new ward and the new adventures. They will be there until next year when they move on to Ann Arbor Michigan to do 3 years of residency there.
Tracy and Frank are doing great in Charlotte, NC. Their girls are growing too fast. Frank has his own advertising production business and is getting more work that he can handle.
Alex has about 3 months left on his mission in Atlanta. He has absolutely loved his mission and doesn't want to come home, but we are going out there in January and will drag him onto the plane.
Tyler is 17 now and is a junior in high school. He is driving, dating, learning jazz piano and is getting ready for the ACT at the end of this month.
Winn is going to London at the beginning of next month and will stop off and see Katie and Tracy on his way.
You know what I am doing.......blogging!
